According to the Daily Mail a reputable provider of CBD Oil "showed levels of 12.4mg of THC – more than 12 times the legal limit" 01/02/20.
Analysis of 31 other brands showed that 10 were over the limit of 0.2% THC for Full Spectrum CBD.
The legal amount of THC in CBD oil is 0.2%. This is what constitutes a food supplement dose of THC, which is a component of the Hemp Plant. We can't mention the CBD Oil but it contained 12.4mg, more than 12 times the legal threshold.
The threshold of 0.2% is important as it's the right amount of THC to not be psychoactive. But from 31 other companies analysed- 10 were discovered to be over this amount, with one including a whopping 24mg of THC. However we make sure we aren't involved in such practices.
We make sure all our Hemp Oil supplements are rigorously lab tested to ensure we meet all legal requirements of non-psychoactive Hemp Oil. This includes always making sure we publish our lab reports to show we are within the legal threshold of 0.2% THC.
On the other hand some companies also offer lower amounts of THC namely within Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil.
Full Spectrum Hemp Oil contains the full range of Cannabinoids in Hemp Plant including 0.2% THC. However some companies offer Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil which contains all Cannabinoids except THC.
In our opinion Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is better as it contains THC- an important Cannabinoid that results in full body support and all round well being.
But Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil has little to no THC at 0.05%. This however misses out on THC as a support for normal maintenance of bodily functions. Therefore we at All Round CBD choose to include THC for this reason.
